CAFS IRP stands for the International Research Programme on Climate, Agriculture, and Food Security. This research program is a collaboration between the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations, the International Centre for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT), and the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI). The goal of CAFS IRP is to understand the impacts of climate change on agriculture and food security and to develop strategies to mitigate and adapt to these impacts.
Climate change is already having significant impacts on agriculture and food security around the world. Extreme weather events, such as droughts, floods, and heatwaves, are becoming more frequent and severe, which can lead to crop failures and reductions in food production. This research is conducted through a variety of projects and activities, including field experiments, modelling studies, and data analyses.
One key focus of CAFS IRP is on developing and promoting the use of sustainable and resilient agricultural practices that can help farmers adapt to changing climate conditions. These practices include the use of drought-resistant and heat-tolerant crops, as well as techniques such as precision irrigation and integrated pest management. In addition, CAFS IRP is working to identify and promote policies and programs that can support the adoption of these practices by farmers and other stakeholders.

I hypothesised that social media has a harmful effect on young women's opinion on body image, however, a few responses from my survey revealed that certain females maintained the idea that it has both advantages and disadvantages. With these screen time statistics, it is evident that a large amount of these young womens day has been dedicated to being on social media and this can allow for a gradual change in the way they see the body as photos of thin females are normally popularised. Body image is described as how you see yourself, how you think others see you and how you feel about the way you look. It's taken so much stress away 8. It is influenced by many things including appearance, size, gender, skin, culture, build, weight, etc. This secondary source reinforces the idea that social media is filled with multitudes of thin-idealized images that a young woman or an adolescent girl may have located and pinned to a page. Adolescent girls will see these women and may want their image as their own, and some will go to any lengths to acquire this.
