Growing up, I had many friends and each one of them played a special role in my life. But there was one childhood friend who stood out from the rest, and to this day, he remains a very dear friend of mine.
His name is John, and we met in first grade when we were both six years old. We quickly hit it off and became inseparable. We did everything together, from playing sports and video games to going on adventures in the woods behind our houses.
