Let me count the ways. This rings true for both genders, but might be especially true for women since women are not entitled to have their own names for a large portion of history. I wasn't sure they would want it, but they did. In the first stanza the narrator reports how they bought the orange for lunch and that it was big enough to even give parts of it to two other people most likely co-workers. But yes, The Orange is the only thing I have ever willingly memorized, and still remember many years later. Are there people who come to see flowers in bloom for themselves? It is a lovely volume all around. The poet also believes that flowers share this fate.
