I shall be reading more of him soon. Both are naïve, young boys who are very idealistic and full of romantic ideology. I read these two short novellas along with a good length novel Spring Torrents and all three of them are pleasantly beautiful. Vladimir is transformed by this newly found image of love, which he is only just beginning to grasp. Once, after going to a theatrical performance, Vladimir has already matured and meets Maidanova, who once also took care of Zinaida Alexandrovna.
