"A Gentleman" is a 2017 Indian action comedy film directed by Krishna D.K. and Raj Nidimoru. The film stars Sidharth Malhotra as Gaurav and Jacqueline Fernandez as Kavya, with Darshan Kumar and Sunil Shetty in supporting roles.
The film follows Gaurav, a straightforward and simple man who lives a mundane life as a financial analyst in Mumbai. One of the highlights of the film is the chemistry between Malhotra and Fernandez, which is charming and electric. A Gentleman Movie Review
Given the right set of roles, Hussain Dalal will surely be a delight to watch out for in the days to come. Despite setting a brilliant introduction, it falls apart quickly, relying on the same cliches it was trying to subvert. . The 'Glitz' Factor The treatment out here is quite stylish and has been tried to be presented in a quirky manner. Prajwal gives one of his best performances till date, as he shines especially in the emotional and vulnerable moments of the story. Quite to my surprise, this film is pretty decent based on its writing in some way as well as the action sequences. He was great as a villain in Main Hoon Na and I had some expectation for this film because of him but he wasted potential.
A Gentleman Review {3.5/5}: The film would have been a perfect entertainer had it held its cards closer to its chest. However, it still has plenty bang for your buck.
But such is the non linear structure of the script, we do not get to savour the relationship that develops between the two. Siddharth's comic timing, Hussain's chamchagiri, Jignes' desi mafia and Jacqueline's foot in the mouth moments all make you want to see the film a second time. Goof to see Sidharth Malhotra has improved so much and of course Jacqueline Fernandez was excellent n gorgeous The plot especially its twist literally made me shocked. That her character has a thing for speeding allows her a chance to get into the action. Sidharth Malhotra nails the poles apart portrayal of Gaurav and Rishi, keeps it subtle and distinctive. Music by Sachin-Jigar is peppy. It turned out much more smarter than that.
A Gentleman Movie Review: Sidharth Malhotra, Jacqueline Fernandez's Film Is Sundar But Not Susheel
Sid was sincere, Jaq was good. Gaurav gets all that his heart desires - he lands a cushy job in a Miami firm, makes good friends, moves into a swanky house and buys a minivan large enough to accommodate a full family. Help us delete comments that do not follow these guidelines by marking them offensive. I thought its a double role but great to know the small twist. These films are made only with one agenda and that is to entertain its targeted audience. The incriminating intel describes how Mickey and his goons, while trying to sell his pot empire to an Oklahoma billionaire, became responsible for a few unplanned murders. I don't know understand what's wrong with the review writers and why they hold a grudge against Siddharth Malhotra.
A gentleman: A Gentleman movie review: Starring Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez, this film is worth the price of a multiplex ticket
Across oceans, his doppelganger Rishi, an undercover agent, reports in to someone only referred to as the Colonel Suneil Shetty who heads a government-funded outfit called Unit X. Her pole dance has already become a talking point of the film. It's such an entertaining film, the action in this is commendable and A-grade, this movie has everything. A girl called Kavya Jacqueline Fernandez finds him nice, but too tame for her taste. Gaurav lives in Miami, works in an MNC has just bought a posh villa and a family wagon. Stylish, cool, comedy, good action scenes and nice songs.
The Gentlemen movie review & film summary (2020)
. It is a good hangout movie that you can enjoy with your friends. A good thrill, some cool missions and lot of straight face humour! This literally killed my excitement! There he lives the good suburban life with a lovely new home and a spacious car. Jacqueline handles the comedy, glamour and dancing. How all of this fits together is almost wholly in the hands of Hugh Grant, who gives an extraordinary performance, considering the circumstances.
