When Eldred Mims, a homeless black man known to the town citizens as The Pecan Man, sets up residence in the nearby woods, racism rears its ugly head. Where there are wrongs, there are still those trying to do right. Eddie is targeted for the murder of Skipper. Wilson, NC is a lot closer than Denmark, SC. I only calmed down and started to enjoy her narration from about book eleven.
It features Ty Ty Walden no mistake- the name is right digging for gold on one acre of his farm.
