I believe in the power of questions and questioning strategies to cause thinking. I want to be able to watch them grow and reach their full potential as well as see their learning soar to new levels and watch them develop together and as individuals. Teachers inspire those of all professions; police officers, firefighters, secretaries, carpenters, bankers, trash collectors, actors, truck drivers, fast food workers, scientists, inventors, doctors, lawyers, even the president. Building that relationship with students also makes them want to share with you which shows they trust you and want to connect with you. As the teacher, I ask the students questions that require them to think deeply on a subject or idea to activate their prior knowledge that is lodged in their subconscious mind.

Through interdisciplinary education, you can take one situation and its outcome and apply it to similar situations. I found three theories that best describe the way I want to teach.
