Katniss is nervous because she has to be very careful what she says. Katniss arrives in the center of the arena, and barely survives an attack from a Seriously Crazy Young Lady. He lists the disasters, the droughts, the storms, the fires, the encroaching seas that swallowed up so much of the land, the brutal war for what little. The outfits are a huge hit with the audience and make Katniss and Peeta stand out among the tributes.
