"Dear John" is a novel written by Nicholas Sparks. The book tells the story of John Tyree, a young man who is on leave from the Army, and Savannah Lynn Curtis, a college student who he falls in love with while on vacation in the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

Being gallant on the pier, he befriends college student Savannah, a college student, and her buddies, a terminal father and his angelic son. I could handle the slowness and the too-much-narration of this book. And although he had made mistakes along the way, he understood they were unjust but repented and did his best to make it right. Let me start off by saying that I am not a re-reader. He is thinking about how much he loves her and why their relationship dissolved. John and Savannah met at a dock down by the oceanin Wilmington.
