The writers kept bringing in new plot twists also, and it was nice because it didn't feel like the plot was over saturated like it didn't feel like I got swamped with all the different ideas of the book I think it was very clear. Quinn doesn't feel he has it in to murder anyone. Of all the characters in the novel, the circumstances of her life and early death are amongst the most mysterious. We weren't allowed to make the connections with Kit because they were so random and unexplained.
Once the men agree to buy the art piece, Grace can trace the source of money to see where it comes from and what crimes may have been committed. He has a wife, Lady Wang, and one concubine: Zhao. She is asked by the police to advise them on a simple murder inquiry. Is there a sinister plot from Iran? The epilogue was confusing. I don't know how I felt about Doll, like I know exactly what Kit was feeling like with him and then also I didn't like him for the murders but we probs are meant to think like that anyways but de murderer so good I like the last few chapters esp and I like how they added in background and tied everything together but like they're probs supposed to do that too bc otherwise there'd be super big unanswered questions but anyways: This book is soo beautiful. This is another great book by her.
