I hope this review was understandable and enjoyable anyway : That's the end of the review and you can stop here but I wanted to add on. I read all this build-up and didn't get rewarded for it. I loved the second as much as the first, but was very disappointed by the third. Mockingjay was an utter disappointment. But the real message of the series is encapsulated at its climax.
I think as this trend of splitting one book into two films catches on with the money end of filmmaking, it is slowly being perfected by the artistic side. I should be dead. Unrequited love they can relate to. She's happy to take the audience out of their comfort zone and I LOVE that about her. If not, I highly suggest that one! Katniss is trying to make sense of this new world amidst a rebellion and is still quite unstable as she recovers from the physical and emotional trauma she underwent in the arena. The details were good though and since I am team peeta I liked the end. It's one of the best movies I've seen in a very, very long time. I think Collins gave into to what she thought her fans wanted, which was a team Peeta vs team Gale scenario. First of all, I'm getting a bit tired of reading about love triangles -- especially in novels where there's a much greater plot present. The success of the rebellion hinges on Katniss's willingness to be a pawn, to accept responsibility for countless lives, and to change the course of the future of Panem. The rebellion had been planned for long and Katniss Everdeen was always part of that plan. After Prim's death, the book just became a joke.

The best things in life never come easy; anybody who's done anything has had to overcome obstacles to accomplish their goals. That's who they are as a couple.

I did tons of things in between reading this book doing my nails, watching TV, taking a walk, etc because I couldn't read it in one sitting without wanting to gouge my eyes out.
