One of the most memorable journeys of my life was a trip I took to Europe with my family when I was in high school. We visited several countries, including France, Italy, and Switzerland, and it was an experience that I will never forget.
The journey began with a long flight from our home in the United States to Paris, France. As soon as we arrived, we were struck by the beauty and culture of the city. We spent our first few days exploring the sights and sounds of Paris, visiting iconic landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame Cathedral. We also spent a lot of time trying new foods and practicing our French skills with the locals.
After a few days in Paris, we took a train to Italy. Our first stop was Rome, where we marveled at the ancient ruins of the Colosseum and the Pantheon. We also spent a day visiting the beautiful city of Florence, where we saw the famous statue of David and explored the winding streets of the city's historic center.
The final leg of our journey took us to Switzerland, where we spent a few days exploring the stunning Swiss Alps. We hiked through the breathtaking landscape, taking in the views of snow-capped peaks and crystal clear lakes. We also visited the charming town of Lucerne, where we saw the famous wooden bridge and took a boat ride on the lake.
Overall, the trip was an incredible experience that I will never forget. It was a chance for me to immerse myself in new cultures and see some of the most beautiful places in the world. The memories I made on this journey will stay with me forever, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have traveled with my family.

My hand shot up without hesitation, but when I looked around, I immediately felt ostracized.
