This was a good salve to understand the United States and all this country has been through. We liked its sturdy feel and how easy it is to get the job done. It would have been nice to see more variety in topics. In fact, assume it was not submitted, and plan to do this task yourself. From a Black father's confrontation of his son's illness, to a divorcée'stranscendent experience with strangers, to a bartender grieving the tragic loss of a friend, these stories are a master class not just in essay writing but in empathy, artfully imbuingmoments of hardship with understanding and that elusive grace.
