My river poem is a tribute to the powerful and enduring force of nature that is a river. Rivers have always held a special place in my heart, and this poem is an expression of my deep love and appreciation for these magnificent bodies of water.

In my river poem, I describe the many different moods and characteristics of a river. At times, the river can be peaceful and serene, its gentle flow soothing to the soul. At other times, it can be wild and raging, its currents strong and unforgiving. No matter what mood it is in, though, the river is always a force to be reckoned with.

One of the things I love most about rivers is their ability to change and adapt. No matter what obstacles they face, they always find a way to flow forward. They carve their way through mountains, creating valleys and gorges as they go. They wind their way through cities and towns, providing life-giving water and nourishment to the plants and animals that depend on them.

In my river poem, I also pay tribute to the beauty of rivers. From the crystal clear waters of mountain streams to the muddy brown currents of the great Mississippi, each river has its own unique character and charm. I love the way they shimmer in the sunlight and the way they reflect the changing colors of the seasons.

In conclusion, my river poem is a celebration of the enduring power and beauty of these natural wonders. Whether they are calm and serene or wild and raging, rivers are a true gift of nature that we should all cherish and protect.

My River

my river poem

A river is like a mother calling you to come home Calling you to come home. I am now a river, carving my own path. Poetry is to educate people, to lead them away from hate to love, from violence to mercy and pity. Years later my mind and body wandered off. The poem depicts the endless bond between the river and the sea, as the water goes as a cycle, simultaneously finding its way into the sea. The rain has stopped and My River is back, No more flooded fields to stop me, Stop me walking by its side.

The poet begins the poem by comparing it with a child who is playing hide and seeks. He also wondered about where the water came from and where it was going. The swans, the geese and the gulls All greeting me like long lost friends, I stop and greet them as they come to me. Is she begging God to take her when she dies? That my spirit leans to thee; Thou hast been a generous giver, Take this idle song from me. To get into it, you have to take a sit. She's asking if the sea will welcome her and she awaits its reply. Does the rain not drench them and match their cries Do they not love Love Love A man, a woman A child, a mother A father Do they not smile, do they not laugh There are people Do they not deserve to sleep and wake up, eat and drink, love and laugh? Flow me to your vast oceans. Surely, on the days after your life's fulfillment, there could be no finer tribute to your times in the company of your river than a bench for the living to sit in contemplation of the peace she brings. .

My River. A poem.

my river poem

It felt natural for me to evolve to a larger form. The poem begins half an hour before sunset and continues into the evening with the speaker comparing the tides to the attraction of New York City. When it tires of one journey, it rubs through some rock to forge a new way. Ramanujan describes the river Vaikai which is romanticized by the poets of the past and present. Do they not beckon the sun, the moon, the light of day The light of life Should they not smile So that you and I might do things faster Meaningless things that die once they are done Are the reason There are people Asking why There are people Too strong to cry That they are hungry Not afraid to die Because they are slowly Losing the strength To take a deep breath And hope To wake up tomorrow Our fast life, fast car, fast food, fast lines Make it easy To do meaningless things More quickly But the murder we perpetrate in so doing Is meaningful To the childless mother And the armless man The three foot soldier The sixty pound woman And death is real And my river runs through it ——— © 2007 Rukayat Aliyu. Oh Sea — look graciously! As I walk there is much water in the fields And My River is high But all my friends are there. Every year its bank crumbles, rocks and soil and roots roll down silting the river bed, making it shallower. Now, till now, I am back taking a trip down the river. He is able to trace only Memories of important friends he has known and eulogizes one reason why he eulogizes it here in this less famous poem. The poet addresses the river as a looking glass, for the world around us is reflected in the surface of the water. Writing poetry is to help this community better understand life and live it more passionately. He has remained sober ever since.
